First of all... my interest is on behalf of two cousins (Henderson) and
therefore what I have is basically from an interview I had with them some
years ago.
Anna Jean Oulton is their G/mother and was probably born at Springhill NS
abt 1872. She married Norman Henderson there abt 1899 and had 3 children
-More-before they moved to Nanaimo BC where their 4th was born. Later they moved
to Hillcrest AB (another coal-mining town) which is where Anna Jean died,
and is buried (1928)
I believe Anna Jean's father was Chrles T.Oulton who appears on the 1891
Census for Springhill together with his wife Mary, and 4 children, as
follows:
George R. Oulton b.abt 1870 (from Census)
Anna Jean Oulton b.abt 1872
Thomas Oulton b.abt 1874
Lizzie R. Oulton b.abt 1878 |
