      Evelyn Pauline Irvin, 66, South Alton, Kings County, died Sunday, June 17, in Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital, Kentville. Born in Blue Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Bessie (Joudrey) Legge. She lived all her life in the Annapolis Valley area and was a past member of Fellowship Club.

      She is survived by her husband, Frank Irvin; a son, Wendell, at home; a daughter, Irene, at home; four brothers, Norman, Otis, Ted, all of Blue Mountain; Percy, Berwick; two sisters, Anetta Joudrey, Blue Mountain; Cora (Mrs. Pat Walker), New Ross.

      She was predeceased by two brothers, Aubrey and Maurice.

      The body rested in H. C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Kentville, where funeral was held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, Rev. Ronald Dempsey officiating. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made to Valley Regional Hospital Fund or Nova Scotia Heart Foundation.
