  	Obituary Robert Sumner Roscoe, 93, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, died Thursday, November 25, 2011, at Windham House nursing home in Hattiesburg. Mr. Roscoe was a 14-year resident of Southport prior to moving to Hattiesburg. He was a member of the Southport Amateur Radio Club. Mr. Roscoe was born August 11, 1917, in Malden, Massachusetts,to Harry Vernon Roscoe and Grace (Sumner). He was a 1941 graduate of Bentley College in Boston with a degree in business.  He enjoyed playing Scrabble with his family, and loved gardening and bird-watching. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Sumner Dinda of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents. In addition, his spouse Dorothy Ellis died in 1976 and his second wife Goldie Sutton in 2000. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Hammerle, and three brothers, Roger, Arthur and Carleton.
