      MORASH, Marshall Clarence - 73, of Amherst and formerly of West Dover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2009, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, with his wife and daughters by his side. Born in West Dover, Halifax Co., he was a son of the late Clarence W. and Frances E. (MacKinnon) Morash. Marsh was a fisherman by trade and worked on the icebreaker Laurier and Sir. William Alexander. He also did construction work in Halifax and later started his own business known as D&M Morash until his retirement. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Joyce Ogden of Amherst; daughters, Wendy (Kevin) Delong of Dartmouth; Becky (Bill) MacKay, Susan (Jimmy) Murphy, Marsha (Tony) Haylock, Valerie (Wayne Jackson) Fage, all of Amherst area, and Tracy (Bill) Allen of Aulac, N.B.; sisters, Gwendolyn Countway, Audrey Publicover, both of West Dover, and Joyce Forgeron of Whites Lake; as well as brothers, Everett of West Dover, and Phillip (Rosalee) of Terrence Bay; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mable Holmes and Estella "Stell" Forest; brothers, Seaton "Pidge" and Foster. A time of visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (667-9906) at which time the remains will be transferred to Ronald A. Walker Funeral Homes, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon, NS (826-1331) with visiting on Sunday, May 17, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in St. James Cemetery, West Dover. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. www.campbells-amherst.ca
