  	Obituary LoganH. Arsenault 1922-2011 Logan Hance Arsenault, age 88, of Amherst, passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Sunday, June 19, 2011 comforted by his family. Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the late Stephen and Kathleen (Thompson) Arsenault. Logan owned and operated a business, Logan's Kennels, that he ran for many years, where he groomed and cared for numerous dogs. He took great pride in his dogs and belonged to the Tantramar Kennel Club. Logan enjoyed going to dog shows and training his dogs. He had a passion for creating floats and entering them in the parades in Amherst and the surrounding communities. Logan was a member of the Holy Family Parish. He will be lovingly remembered by Julie (Basil) Hicks, Brittany Hicks, Kathleen Hicks, Aidan Hicks, Cullan Hicks, Hugh Maloney Jr., Travis Maloney, Ty Maloney, Joey Jr. O'Dell, and several nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Grace Dakin, and brothers and sisters Theresa, Martha, Annie, Lillian, Marguerite, John, Clarence, Roy, Stephen & Fred. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where visiting hours will take place on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Parish on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11 am, burial in St.Charles - Nativity Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Logan's memory may do so to the L.A. Animal Shelter or charity of your choice.
