STRANG, Kenneth Eldon - 75, Port Clyde, Shelburne County, died August 10, 1992, in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point. Born in Port Clyde, he was a son of the late Ervie and Bessie (Atkinson) Strang. He was a veteran of the Second World War; member of IOOF Clyde Lodge No. 98 and the United Church, Port Clyde. He is survived by five sons, Franklyn, Terry, both of Port Clyde; Richard, Cape Breton; Phillip, New Brunswick; Bruce, Port Saxon; daughter, Mrs. Karen Thurott, Cornwallis; two brothers, William, Halifax; Hayward, Shubenacadie; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Gladys Perry; sister, Ruth; a great-granddaughter. The body is in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Barrington, visiting 2:30-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. James Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Port Clyde Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Port Clyde Cemetery or any charity.
