    • Bona-vol.2,p.796-name,b.yr -vol.2,p.798-name,marr.info.,children; since his children's baptisms do not appear in the Port Royal registers, nor in the other Acadian localities,it is believed that he and his family settled in the remote region of Petitcoudiac or Chipoudy,difficult to reach by the missionaries. Furthermore, members of this family were later found in the regions of Bouctouche and Negouac in New Brunswick after the dispersion of the Acadians. His name was Jean Savoie dit Jane. He has to this day a number of descendants at Negouac, Tracadie, Pointe-du-Chene, Shippagan and Bouctouche, all in N.B.
