    AMHERST:  V. Gordon Siddall, 70, 135 Spring Street, Amherst, died Wednesday in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.  Born in Aulac, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Murray and Alberta (Chappell) Siddall.  He is survived by a sister, Marion, Port Elgin, New Brunswick; two brothers, Carman, Aulac; Burton, Port Elgin; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, Doris; a brother Donald.  Burial will be in Mount Whatley Cemetery.

    Funeral

    AMHERST - A funeral service for Virgil Gordon Kitchener SIDDALL, 70, of 135 Spring St., Amherst, who died suddenly at the Highland View Regional Hospital on Sept. 18, was held on Sept. 21 with Rev. David Myles officiating from St. Mark's Anglican Church in Mt. Whatley. The Lord's prayer was sung by soloist Fred Haynes. The congregation joined Mr. Haynes and organist James Caswell singing the hymn "Abide With Me." Pallbearers were Ronnie Faulkner, Bill Forgrave, Wayne Siddall, Terrance Lockwood, Ernest Bowser, Elmer Jones, Wilson Smith Sr. and Stephen Arsenault. Prior to the funeral service the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 10 held a memorial service on Sept. 20, 7 p.m. at Campbell's Funeral Home. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery by his wife Doris, with Rev. Myles conducting the commital service.
