    Leo worked around the Como Hotel as a youngster and adult. Then he worked for the Maritime Coal and Railway Company and held positions from engineer, driver, conductor and finally superintendent. Afterwards, he went to work for the CNR and was Express Messenger, travelling to various parts of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec.     JACKLIN, Carmelita “Carm“ - At her residence on Sunday, July 20, 2008, Carmelita “Carm“ Jacklin, age 78, of Chatham. Born in Joggins, Nova Scotia in 1929, daughter of the late Noma Dorothy Como and Reginald LeBlanc, she was the manager of Reitman's Ladies Store for 40 years and a member of St. Ursula's C.W.L. She will be sadly missed by: a sister Jacquelin Sevcik of Winnipeg, a brother Ronald LeBlanc and wife Beverly of Dresden, a sister-in-law Hilda LeBlanc of Wallaceburg, 2 granddaughters, Maureen Saunders and Tammy Jacklin-Hughes and 4 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son Robert (1999), 3 brothers, Robert, Fred and Douglas LeBlanc. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ursula's Church, C.W.L. prayers Tuesday at 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.     JACQUELINE MARIE SEVCIK Peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 Jacqueline Marie Sevcik (nee Leblanc) passed away at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 84 years. Jacqueline will be sadly missed by her son John David Sevcik and wife Brenda; daughter Janis Sevcik and granddaughter Cheryl Lyn; daughter Joceline Krzyszczyk; husband Greg and grandchildren Chris and Danielle; and son James Sevcik. She was predeceased by her daughter Jo-Anna Marie Botcher and her husband John Sevcik. Born in Joggins, Nova Scotia Jacqueline grew up in Chatham, Ontario where she moved to Winnipeg and was married and raised her five children. She worked for the Winnipeg Tribune and when the Tribune closed down she worked for Canada Post. Jacqueline was a long standing parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed working in her garden and watching and feeding the birds that visited her each day. Jacqueline has touched numerous people in her life with her ever joyous smile and sense of humour. She will be missed by all of her friends who have touched her life, for this we thank all of you. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 847 St. Mary's Road.
