    Lawrence Arthur LeBlanc

    It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lawrence Arthur LeBlanc age 83 of Minudie, Cumberland County announce his passing at the home of his niece Trudy Latour in Middle Sackville, NS.
    Born in Minudie, he was a son of the late Murray and Grace (Burke) LeBlanc.
    Lawrence was a truck driver for many years for Farmers Dairy. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time at his camp in Shulee with his friends. It was at his camp where Lawrence hosted many family reunions which he enjoyed.
    He is survived by his siblings Catherine Ann Morris of Lower Sackville, NS, Darrell LeBlanc of River Hebert, Garnet LeBlanc of Amherst, Donna Butler of Dartmouth, Carol Ann Droesbeck of Salisbury, NB, Susan Smith of Saint John, NB and Randy (Kim) LeBlanc of River Hebert, special friend Gail Persil of Lower Sackville and her son Shawn, his two children Jordan and Kody, who Lawrence loved dearly, and many nieces and nephews.
    Besides his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by brothers Jack, Curtis and Wayne.
    A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. in St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie with Father Craig Christenson officiating followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments held in St. Paul’s Hall in River Hebert.
    Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS (902)667-9906.

    DARRELL J. LEBLANC

    7/19/1941 - 7/18/2018
    It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darrell Joseph LeBlanc age 76 of River Hebert in the early hours of Wednesday, July 18, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family. 
    Born in Minudie, NS, Darrell was a son of the late Murray and Grace (Burke) LeBlanc. 
    Raised in Minudie, Darrell began his career at Farmers Dairy until he secured a position with CN Railway where he worked until his retirement following 35 years of service.
    A true outdoorsman by heart, he loved hunting, fishing, gardening as well as curling. 
    He was well loved and respected therefore there are too many friends to mention, but you know who you are. 
    Darrell will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his long-time partner, Doris (Windy) White; stepdaughters, Wilma White, Valerie White; step sons, Mark White, Jeff White; brothers, Randy (Kim), Garnet; sisters, Susan Smith, Donna Butler, Carol Ann Drosebeck; grandchildren, Dwayne Edwards, Danielle White, Amber MacKay; best friend, Steven (Carol) Burke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
    In addition to his parents, Darrell was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Ann Morris; brothers, Lawrence, Jack, Curtis and Wayne. 
    A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St, Amherst 9902) 667-9906. Interment will follow in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie, NS. 
    Memorial contributions in Darrell’s memory can be made to a Mental Health organization.

    LeBLANC. John Wayne - Dartmouth It with great sadness that we must announce the passing of John "Wayne" LeBlanc after a long battle with Cancer. Born in Saint John, N.B. and raised in River Hebert he is survived by his wife Glenda (Purdy), daughter Shannon, son-in-law Christopher O'Shea and grandson Morgan. Wayne is predeceased by Mother Grace, partner Walter LeBlanc and brothers Jack and Curtis. He is survived by Lawrence, Darrell, Carol Ann, Garnet, Donna, Susan, Randy. Also survived by biological mother Catherine Morris (Donald -deceased), sisters Trudy, Donalda, Bonnie and Gail as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, travelling and spending time with his family, especially his grandson. During his career he spent 25 years working for Simmons and most recently he spent the last 15 years working for Neocon International. Wayne's family would like to thank the staff of the Dartmouth General Hospital for their care and special friends Jean and Noel for spending so much time with Wayne. Visitation will be held at Dartmouth Funeral Home on Queen St. on Thursday December 11th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.     Curtis LeBlanc
    1937-2009
    LeBlanc - Curtis Frederick, 71, of Maccan, NS, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2009 at home with family Curtis was born in Minudie, NS to the Late Grace and Murray LeBlanc.

    Curtis travelled while in the army and while working on the lake boats. As well, he did a wide variety of jobs all his life to provide for his family. He will be missed in his vehicle escort service as he was often requested by clients because of his expertise. Curtis loved visiting with friends and family, he enjoyed the outdoors, reading and watching movies. He was very generous, deeply spiritual, loved to share a joke, story or laughter and was a proud AA member for 28 years.

    Curtis will be sadly missed by daughters, Terry (Robert Crowe) LeBlanc, Darlene (Len) Reid and Charlene LeBlanc; sons, Murray, and Jordan (Shannon Mills); grandchildren, Justin, Lacey, Kyle and Ben. Raised in Minudie in a family of 11, he is also survived by siblings, Catherine Morris, Carol-Ann (Stewart) Droesbeck, Donna Butler, Susan Smith, Lawrence, Darrell, Garnet, Wayne (Glenda), Randy (Kim).

    He was predeceased by his former wife Noma (White), step-father, Walter LeBlanc, brother Jack and brother-in-law, Donnie Morris.Visitation will be held at the River Hebert Community Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11 am at St. Paul's the Apostle Church, River Hebert, officiated by Father David MacDonald. Committal service at the Minudie Cemetery will follow at a later date.
