    John Wayne LeBlanc

    LeBLANC. John Wayne - Dartmouth It with great sadness that we must announce the passing of John "Wayne" LeBlanc after a long battle with Cancer. Born in Saint John, N.B. and raised in River Hebert he is survived by his wife Glenda (Purdy), daughter Shannon, son-in-law Christopher O'Shea and grandson Morgan. Wayne is predeceased by Mother Grace, partner Walter LeBlanc and brothers Jack and Curtis. He is survived by Lawrence, Darrell, Carol Ann, Garnet, Donna, Susan, Randy. Also survived by biological mother Catherine Morris (Donald -deceased), sisters Trudy, Donalda, Bonnie and Gail as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, travelling and spending time with his family, especially his grandson. During his career he spent 25 years working for Simmons and most recently he spent the last 15 years working for Neocon International. Wayne's family would like to thank the staff of the Dartmouth General Hospital for their care and special friends Jean and Noel for spending so much time with Wayne. Visitation will be held at Dartmouth Funeral Home on Queen St. on Thursday December 11th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Memorial mass to be held on 12:00 (noon) Friday December 12 at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Passage , Father Johni Mathew, celebrant . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca). Online condolences by visiting www.dartmouthfuneralhome.ca
