    Obituary

Cape Tormentine, N.B.- It is with deep sadness that the family of Byron B. Burns must announce his passing on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Byron passed away with his loving family by his side at the age of 63.
Born on January 25, 1952 in Sackville, N.B., he was the son of the late Doris Margaret (Allen) and Harold Edward Burns.
Byron loved riding his motorcycle and being on the open road. He worked on the boats in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and he had a passion for being out on the water. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Byron will be lovingly remembered by his son, Sean Burns and his mother, Suzanne Bergeron both of Sept-Iles, Quebec; his three brothers, Thomas (Marjorie) Burns, Gene (Christine) Burns and Danny Burns; his sister, Sharon Burns (Ross); his five nieces and nephews and by his special friend and her daughters, Colombe Fournier and her family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Byron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at the Bayfield Cemetery, Bayfield, N.B. on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at 2 pm with William Drysdale, DLM officiating. Following the graveside service, a reception will take place at the Cape Tormentine Legion. In the event of inclement weather, the service will take place at the Cape Tormentine Legion, followed by the reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Byron may be given to the Bayfield Cemetery, Sackville Memorial Hospital or to the charity of one’s choice.
