    STRANG Madeline - Evelyn Strang, 88, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2004. Ms. Strang has lived at Jacksonville Beach, Florida since childhood. She was an active member of the Supreme Cootiettes Club of the United States all of her adult life, and was past president of the VFW. She worked as Assistant City Clerk for Jacksonville Beach for 20 plus years, where she retired. She is survived by three brothers, Alder and Juanita Strang of Jacksonville Beach, Fl; Grady and Mary Strang of Hilham, TN., Robert Strang of Sarasota, Fl;, two sisters; Eileen Greenfield of Jensen Beach, Fl; and Doris Diz of Clemmens, NC. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at H. Warren Smith Cemetery, on Penman Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3270 at 915 Eighth Avenue South, Jacksonville Beach, 32250. Arrangements are under the direction of HardageGiddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hardagegiddens.com
