    CASEY, Shirley Frances - 44, Dartmouth, died Sunday, October 30, 2005, at home with her loving husband and son at her side. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late David and Frances Casey. Shirley's favourite pastimes were camping, knitting, collecting dolphin figurines, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also had a passion for watching her favourite NASCAR racing on television. She is survived by her husband, Harold "Al"; son, Donald Wayne Rodgers; sisters, Donnalee (Curtis), Dartmouth; Mary (John), Amherst; Elsie, Dartmouth; brothers, James, Halifax; Cecil (Wilma), Calgary, Alta.; George (Freda), Lakeside; William (Christine), Dartmouth; Derrick (Stephanie), Chilliwack, B.C.; Harold (Mary), Canso. She was predeceased by brother, Wayne. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2-4, 7-9 p.m., memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, both in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Urn burial in St. John's Cemetery, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Society of Deaf & Hard of Hearing Nova Scotians, 1657 Barrington St., Suite 117, Halifax, NS B3J 2A1.
