    Lawrence Darren Mason, 44, Hammonds Plains, passed away in Toronto General Hospital on October 3, 2011, after a brave effort to defeat Leiomyosarcoma. He is survived by his wife, Jill and his precious sons, Matthew, Jacob and Joel. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Kevin Mason, Stephanie Hind, Kevin and Kathy Siddall, Wendy Siddall and Rick Durkee, Wade Siddall, Kim and Felix DÉon and their families. Lawrence was happiest when he was involved supporting his boys with their activities. He will be sadly missed at "the rink". The family wishes to send their sincere thanks to the ICU team of Toronto General Hospital and particularly to Dr. Ian McGilvray for giving hope. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 7th in RA Walker Funeral Home, Peggy's Cove Road, Tantallon, with funeral service on Saturday, October 8th at 11 a.m in St. Luke's United Church, Upper Tantallon. To honour Lawrence's memory, please do a random act of kindness.
