    SHEA, Douglas Vaughn - 70, 3 Lorne St., Springhill, died February 3, 1994, in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late William A. and Lillian Maude (Brown) Shea. He was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, Springhill and Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 17. He served overseas during the Second World War with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders and later in the Army Medical Corps. His working years were spent with Canadian National Express as a painter. He is survived by his wife, the former Nellie Jean Simpson; son, William Owen, Springhill; daughter, Barbara Jean (Mrs. Delbert Amon), Riverview, N.B.; brother, James D., Dartmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Muriel Gould, Mrs. Betty Smith, both of Amherst; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Jack, William, Ronald. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, where a legion service will be 7 p.m. tonight and where funeral will be 2 p.m Saturday, Rev. Glenn Eason officiating. Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
