    Roy Ernest F. Strang 1916-2007 Roy E. F. Strang of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home Moncton, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 10th 2007 following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late John and Jenny (Hutchinson) Strang. He is survived by three children, Roger (Alexis) Moncton, Royanne Breau (Gerry Moger) Cap Pele, and Donna Dupuis (Riverview); three grandchildren, Karen Bettesworth (Burlington, ON) Sheri Simmons (Minnesota), Leeann Mariano (Toronto, ON); and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Betty Marie (Bauer) in 1994 and by three brothers and one sister. Roy retired from Canadian National Railway in 1984 as a crane operator. He will also be remembered for his love of music, having been associated with various bands and musical groups for many years. At Roy's request there will be no visitation or funeral. Interment of his ashes will take place privately. The family wishes to thank the staff of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home for their compassion and care of Roy during his residency. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Betty (daughter of Cecil Harold Bauer and Konnie Rae Frances McStay) was born 21 Dec 1921, Moncton, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada; died 15 Dec 1994, Moncton, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried 18 Dec 1994, Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.
