    Obituary

    The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside , P.E.I. on Tuesday, November 8th , 2011 of Lois Blanche Skerry ( nee Gordon ) of Summerside,aged 86 years. Lois was born on August 9th , 1925 in Alma, P.E.I. to her late parents James and Empress ( nee McNeill ) Gordon.
    Beloved wife of the late Merle Skerry and loving mother of Faye ( James ) Bourque and Blaine, all of Summerside. Survived by her sisters June ( Hansen ) Oliver of Summerside, Ruby Smith of Nova Scotia and Shirley Sanders of Ontario, her sister-in-law Shirley Skerry of Grand Tracadie and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Besides her husband and parents, Lois was predeceased by her brothers John Owen and Donald Gordon and her brother-in-law Albert Smith.
    Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, November 10th then to Peoples' Cemetery, Summerside for a graveside committal service at 2:00 p.m. . By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Lois' memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society or to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated . Arrangements entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.

    The death occurred peacefully at her late residence on Friday, February 14th , 2014 of Marilyn Faye Bourque (nee Skerry) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 65 years. Faye was born on September 20th , 1948 in Alberton, P.E.I. to her late parents Merle and Lois (nee Gordon) Skerry.
    Beloved wife of James Bourque and step-mother of Don Bourque of Sarnia, ON. . Survived by her brother Blaine Skerry of Summerside and her 2 grandchildren.
    Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Following cremation, interment will take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Faye’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

    The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Monday, February 16th, 2015 of Merle Blaine Skerry of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 63 years. Blaine was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to his late parents Merle and Lois (nee Gordon) Skerry.
    Survived by his brother-in-law James Bourque and predeceased by his sister Faye Bourque.
    Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 22nd from 2 – 3 p.m. By personal request there will be no funeral service held. Interment to take place in People’s cemetery, Summerside at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Blaine’s memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
