    Catherine Vienneau
    1930-2020
    Catherine Vienneau, 89, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday March 28, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
    Born on May 20,1930 in Bas Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late François and Delpine (Donelle) Porelle.
    Prior to her retirement, Catherine worked at Paturel Seafood.
    She is survived by one daughter, Gisèle Vienneau (Jessie Daley) of Bas Cap-Pelé; two sons: Donald of Bas Cap-Pelé, and Roméo (Marie-Paule) of Cap-Pelé; one granddaughter, Anike (Renaud Roy) of Dieppe; two great-grandchildren: Jolin and Danika; one sister, Lorraine Doiron (Yvon) of Bas Cap-Pelé; one sister-in-law, Émerise Porelle of Shediac; as well many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie (1998); one sister, Estelle; two brothers: Ernest, and Azor.
    A special thank you for the wonderful care our mom received while in the hospital, especially to Stéphanie, Jérémie and the staff on 3F.
    In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, visitation and funeral will be held at a later date.
    In memory of Catherine, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of N.B.or to Canadian Diabetes would be appreciated.
    Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Cap-Pelé (577-3297).

    Catherine married Laurie Vienneau 30 Jul 1947, Ste Therese d'Avila Church, Cap Pele, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada. Laurie (son of Emile Vienneau and Celestina (Celeste) Boudreau) was born 10 Aug 1926, Port Elgin, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada; died 26 Mar 1998, The Moncton Hospital, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada.; was buried , the parish cemetery, Cap Pele, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada.     Donald “Mingo” Vienneau, 1959 - 2023

    Donald “Mingo” Vienneau, 64, of Shediac and formerly of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Laurie and the late Catherine (Porelle) Vienneau. Mingo was an avid fan of theMontreal Canadiens. He is survived by his sister, Gisèle Vienneau of Shediac; by his brother, Roméo Vienneau (Marie-Paule) of Cap-Pelé; by his niece, Anike Roy (Renaud); by his great-nephew, Jolin and by his great-niece, Danika.
    Visitation will be held from Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Funeral Salon, Cap-Pelé, on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, December 13th,2023, from 9 am to 10:15 am. Funeral mass will be held from Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila RC Church, Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. In Donald’s memory, a donation can be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. The family invites you to sign a book of condolences at the funeral home website.
