    Obituary

    The death of Donna Marion Sobey of Maple Glen, NB occurred at the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, Miramichi , NB on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at the age of 72. Born in Maple Glen, NB , Donna was the daughter of the late Walter and Ina Sobey.

    Donna was a retired stenographer and did missionary work for 25 years.

    Survived by three sisters: Iona Redmond of South Nelson, NB, Eleanor Geikie of Newcastle, NB and Audrey Sobey of Maple Glen, NB. Two brothers: George (Ruth) and Boyd (Joan) all of Maple Glen, NB.and several nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by: one sister Ruth and two brothers: Vance and Wendall.

    Visitation was held at Bell's Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 7, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service was held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at @ P.M. with Gordon Hazelwood and Jim Abbot officiating. Organist: Veralynn Harrison. Congregational Hymns: Precious Thought My Father Knowth and Only Remembered. Active Pallbearers: Shelton Sobey, Jim MacIntosh, Hazen Smallwood, Stephen MacDonald, Myles Sobey and Vance Sobey Jr. Burial followed in the Maple Glen Cemetery, Maple Glen, NB.

    Funeral arrangements were under the care of Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB E1V 1N9 Telephone 506-622-3600
