    Gary K. Tingley 1959-2014
    Gary K. Tingley, 54, of Lower Cape went to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 26th, 2014. He passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB with his family by his side.   Gary was born in Moncton on October 18th, 1959 the son of the late Reginald and Stella (Lutes) Tingley. Gary was a member of the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church. He was a youth leader with the Curryville Community Center and enjoyed being around the kids. He was a member of the Darlene & The Mens Choir and The Moncton's Mens Choir, he was known for his great singing ability. He was also a dedicated member of the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Department. Even when Gary was not feeling well, he couldn't stay away, he was usually one of the first to show up when a call came in, they will miss him. Gary was a painter and has painted many homes and businesses in the surrounding areas. He painted rooms and also exteriors, whatever was needed, you could count on him to get the job done. Gary also had a special place in his heart for animals, especially for his dog, Chewy and cats, Casper and Toones. He was a loving and caring husband and dad and thought the world of his wife and sons. He also had a great sense of humour and his laugh and smile will live on in all the memories we share. He is now at peace and at home in heaven.   He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Jill (Steeves) Tingley; sons, Matthew Tingley of Moncton and Nathaniel Tingley of Fredericton; sister, Joanne Jonah (Laurie) of Squamish, BC; brothers, Wayne Tingley (Rosalie) of Fredericton, Daniel "Danny" Tingley (Lori) of Oregon, USA and Howard Tingley (Denise) of Hillsborough. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Sandra Steeves (Gerald) of Riverview ; brother-in-law, Brent Steeves of Edgett's Landing; several nieces and nephews and by all his friends and church family.   He will be resting at the Albert county Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, March 31st, 2014 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating, assisted by Rev. Gary Taylor, Pastor Leonard Geldart and Rev. Tim Johnston. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further fellowship and for refreshments at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lower Cape, NB at a later date.   In lieu of flowers, donations to the family as a living memorial or charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.   The family would like to say thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, especially the Surgical ICU Unit and Transplant Clinic, all the kindness and support given will never be forgotten, It meant so much and we will be forever grateful.   Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, 4130 route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB, E4H-3K2 734-2780 www.albertcountyfh.com
