    Viola Jean Boyce Viola Jean Boyce, age 81, of Cape Spear, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day at the Sackville Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born in Chipman Brook, NS, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Bertie (Gould) Misner. Viola was well known for her home cooking and her awesome appearance. She cooked for CN Marine for 18 and a half years, retiring as chief Cook on the Abegweit. She was a member of the United Church and the Westmorland Senior Citizens Club. She loved playing cards, and going to card parties with friends. She was a very loving and devoted mother, always putting her children first. She will be dearly missed by her special friend Donald "Duddy" Trenholm, Cape Spear, children Mervil (Janet), Oromocto, Irving (Mona), Airdrie, AB, Kevin (Sue), Calgary, Wayne (Coral), Welland, ON, David (Hazerett), Calgary, Brian, Gaetz Brook, NS, Myron (Jeannie), Airdrie, AB, Marlene (Jimi) Trenholm, Sackville, Dale (Patti), Lake Charlotte, NS, Jack (Amanda), Sackville; 31 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; brothers, Fred, Percy, Garnet (Vicki), Blair, all in the Kentville area, Lawrence (Janellda), Owen Sound, ON, Ronald (Carol), Steam Mill, NS; sisters, Grace Corkum, Kay Misner, Burleen Brown, Evelyn Misner, Carolyn (Percy) Henshaw, all of Annapolis Valley, NS, Vivian (Ken) Patton, New Glasgow, Margaret (Wayne) Hudson, Calgary; sister-in-law Bessie Misner, Annapolis Valley, NS. She was predeceased by her former husband Kermath and sons Tom and William, grandson, Bruce and brothers, Charlie and Frank. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and the funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 3 pm, William Drysdale DLM officiating. Burial will take place in the Bayfield Cemetery in the spring. Those wishing to make a donation in Viola's memory may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Bayfield United Church or the Trinity United Church, Port Elgin.     BOYCE, Dale Elwin
    March 5, 1960 – Sackville, NB
    December 16, 2013 – Calgary, AB
    Dale Boyce, beloved husband of Patti Butts- Boyce of Cochrane, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the age of 53 years. Dale loved to ride his Harley, the outdoors and getting together for a good time with family and friends. He enjoyed his music and jamming with friends. Dale was his wife's best friend and loved his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and his love of life. Besides his loving wife, Dale is survived by three children Randi, Kelsey and Morgan; his dog Amy; his sister Marlene (Jimi) Trenholm; brothers Mervil Boyce, Irving (Mona) Boyce, Kevin (Sue) Boyce, Wayne (Coral) Boyce, David Boyce, Brian (Nancy) Boyce, Myron (Jeannie) Boyce and Jack Boyce; sister-in-law Hazerett Noseworthy; his best friend John Nichol and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by in-laws Audrey Butts, Helen (Brad) Butts, Jamie Butts, Heather Butts and their families. Dale was predeceased by his parents Kermath and Viola Boyce, his brother Tom Boyce and father-in-law William Butts. A Celebration of Dale's Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Cochrane Funeral Home (369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Dale Boyce, a tree will be planted Big Hill Springs Park, Cochrane.
