Obituary
BROWNELL, Gary Aubrey - 63, Debert, formerly of Amherst, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008, in his residence. He was the son of the late Austin and Lucy Ann (Pauley) Brownell of Amherst. He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Darryl) Corkery, Boston, Mass.; son, Barry (Angela) Brownell, Fredericton, N.B.; He was predeceased by his brother, Norman Hazen Brownell, and sister, Doris Mae MacVittie. Gary studied at DeVry Institute in Toronto and went on to work with Maritime Tel and Tel for 25 years. He was also associated with his father and brother in the family boat building business for several years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Royal Canadian Legion, Debert Branch. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service and reception will take place in the spring in the Lorneville Cemetery, Lorneville.
