Pelham, Rachel Theresa (LeBlanc) - 89 of Halifax passed away September 26, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home Halifax. Born in Joggins in 1925. She was a daughter of the late Rufus and Mary Alice (Terrio) LeBlanc. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Howard Sinclair Pelham of Halifax. Brothers; Reginald, Hance, Sherman and Lester. Sisters; Marjorie, Winnifred and Kathryn and many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her brother-in-law Arthur (Janice) of Truro and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at St.Vincent’s Nursing Home Chapel 2080 Windsor St. Halifax on October 6th, 2014 at 2pm with burial at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Herring Cove.

We regret to announce the passing of J. Darrell LeBlanc, 87, Pugwash, NS, formerly of Amherst and Joggins, NS, on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan. Born in Joggins, NS, on November 1, 1923, he was a son of the late James and Mellisa (Comeau) LeBlanc. Darrell worked as a hoist man for Hillcrest Mine in Joggins and later joined the Department of Highways as a welder and also was a foreman with Thompson Bros. for 28 years. He took great interest in his community and was a proud supporter of the Joggins Fossil Centre, providing historical information, earning him a lifetime admission pass. He will be lovingly remembered by his son, James (Lynda) Leblanc, Hamilton, ON; sister, Mary Louise (Edward) Middlemiss, Ottawa, ON; daughter in law, Irene LeBlanc, Ottawa, ON; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and his special friend and neighbour, Pauline (Harold) Pettigrew, Amherst. Besides his parents, Darrell was predeceased by his wife the former, Alice Terrio; son, Gerard in 2009 and two sons in infancy.Cremation has take place under the care and direction of Campbell`s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906). Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Darrell’s memory may be made to the Cumberland VON or charity of your choice.

Peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Edwin "Ed" Middlemiss. Loving mother of Denise (Rod Ogden), John (Judy), David (Kelly) and James (Christa). Francis Murray Keiver 1924-2007 Francis (Frank) Murray Keiver formerly of Stoney Creek, recently of Lakeview Manor, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on September 9, 2007. Born in Moncton, he was the only son of Weldon Murray Keiver and Mary Louise (Leblanc) Keiver. Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Marie Elizabeth (Murphy) Keiver in 2003; and a son, Donald in 1954. He was the loving father of Anne Marie Keiver and Michael Frederick Keiver. Frank is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was educated at St. Bernard's School where he met his future wife in grade one. Following graduation from Moncton High School, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) in 1942. He underwent his RCAF training at Pennfield Ridge, New Brunswick. Subsequently, he volunteered for overseas duties with the Royal Air Force (RAF). He was assigned to Coastal Command and served with RAF Squadron 209 in Egypt, East and South Africa. He flew missions over the Indian Ocean in Catalina and Sunderland seaplanes. He was awarded the Burma and Africa Stars for his military service. Following his war service, he returned to Moncton where he began a lifelong career in advertising commencing with the Moncton Times and Transcript. Subsequently, he worked for B.E. Smith Furniture Company, J.D. Creaghan Co., and Co-op Atlantic. He culminated his career as an advertising manager with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation where he was involved in print, radio and television advertising production. Frank was a charter member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He was also past president of the Maritime Provinces Jaycees. He was a member of veterans' organizations including the Moncton Chapter of the United Military Services Institute, Riverview Veterans' Association, and the Canadian Legion. He was also a keen student of history and was a member of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society, as well as the past president of the Albert County Historical Society. Visiting hours will be held at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110), 114 Alma Street, Moncton on Wednesday, September 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. With Parish Prayers at 8:30 pm in the funeral home. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Botsford Street at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2007. Following the service a reception will be held in the parish hall. The interment will take place at the Old Shediac Road Cemetery. No flowers by request of the family. If desired, expressions of sympathy in Frank's memory may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or the memorial of the donor's choice.

Pointe-du-Chene, NB – William "Bill" Gould, Jr., 71, passed away at Dr.Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late William and the late Edith Gould (nee Niles).
Bill worked for CN for 32 years. He owned Maritime Restoration. A member of the 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Janice Gould of Pointe-du-Chene; by his precious daughter, Monette Gould (Jonathan Denton) of Dieppe whom he loved very much; by his four sisters, Patsy Gould of Shediac, a special sister, Brenda Gould of Moncton, Eileen McGinity (late Brian) of Winnipeg, MB and Carol (Paul) Melanson of Shediac; by his three brothers, Ron (Jeanne), Peter (Rachel) all of Dieppe and Mike of Lincoln, NB; a special nephew, Terry Roy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Passage inShediac-Bridge on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be no visitation at the funeral home on Thursday morning. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 11 Andrew Street, Pointe-du-Chene on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11:00am.

Moncton, NB – It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Brenda Gould(68), who passed away at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late William H. and the late Edith Gould (nee Niles).
Brenda will be sadly missed by her caregiver who she resided with for the past twelve and a half years, Rosa & Guy LeBlanc of Moncton; by her three sisters, Carol Melanson (Paul) of Shediac, Eileen McGinity (late Brian) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Patricia Gould of Shediac; by her three brothers, Ron (Jeanne) of Moncton, Peter (Rachel) of Dieppe and Mike of Fredericton; by her sister-in-law, Janice Gould of Pointe-du-Chêne; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceasedby her brother, Bill.

Born in Joggins, Nova Scotia in 1929, daughter of the late Noma Dorothy Como and Reginald LeBlanc, she was the manager of Reitman's Ladies Store for 40 years and a member of St. Ursula's C.W.L. JACQUELINE MARIE SEVCIK Peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 Jacqueline Marie Sevcik (nee Leblanc) passed away at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 84 years. Jacqueline will be sadly missed by her son John David Sevcik and wife Brenda; daughter Janis Sevcik and granddaughter Cheryl Lyn; daughter Joceline Krzyszczyk; husband Greg and grandchildren Chris and Danielle; and son James Sevcik. She was predeceased by her daughter Jo-Anna Marie Botcher and her husband John Sevcik. Born in Joggins, Nova Scotia Jacqueline grew up in Chatham, Ontario where she moved to Winnipeg and was married and raised her five children. She worked for the Winnipeg Tribune and when the Tribune closed down she worked for Canada Post. Jacqueline was a long standing parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed working in her garden and watching and feeding the birds that visited her each day. Jacqueline has touched numerous people in her life with her ever joyous smile and sense of humour. She will be missed by all of her friends who have touched her life, for this we thank all of you. –It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Lawrence LeBlanc of Meadowvale, Annapolis County, 86 years, on December 22, 2021 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Wayne was born in Joggins, Cumberland County, to the late Hans and Louise (Bourgeois) LeBlanc. Leaving to mourn: his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Jacqueline (Stuckeman); beloved grandsons, Donovan Andrew LeBlanc and Colby James LeBlanc; sisters Myrna (Girvan) White, Joggins, Lita (Richard) Fearon, Orangeville, Ontario; a large circle of nieces and nephews; special friends: Dr. Abdul and Jennifer Yafi & family, Bernice and Brian Jackson (Keighley, Nathan & Jordan), Andrew and Nancy Wilson. Wayne served as an Aviation Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 28 years, during which time he traveled the world and found the love of his life in France. After retiring from the RCAF, Wayne could not sit home and began another career of 20 years with Canada Post. Wayne enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing, and a strong cup of Tim Hortons coffee. Wayne was a true gentleman who will be fondly remembered for the twinkle in his eyes, his kind, caring nature, and his wonderful sense of humour. A special thank you to the staff of Soldiers’Memorial Hospital, especially the Emergency Department and the Medical Floor. Cremation has taken place. At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday November 8, 2014, Maurice“Moe” Wagner, age 76, of Chatham, beloved husband of Dolores “Dee” (Havens) Wagner. Born in Kingston Nova Scotia in 1938, son of the late Marjorie LeBlanc and Hector Wagner.
He was the owner of Moe’s Meat Shop, Moe was also an avid golfer, belonged to the Y.M.C.A., loved having coffee with his buddies and a long time member of St. Ursula’s Church.
Loving father of Mark of Oakville. Also sadly missed by a nephew David Smith (Antoinette-deceased) and family, his nieces Jennifer Bunning (Dennis) and family, Jeannine Gillett (Wayne) and family and by his sisters-in-law; Jeanie Havens (Lucien-deceased) and family, Jeannine Parsons (Bill-deceased) and family and Carol Boylan (Don) and family. Predeceased by his sister Jeannine Smith (1964) and brother-in-law Jack Smith.

Went to be with the Lord on Friday, 29 April 2016 in her 88th year. Pearl Cecilia Comeau (nee LeBlanc) beloved wife of the late Al Comeau (2004). Loving mother of Marlene Pysanczyn and her husband Jim of Mississauga, Stephen Comeau and his wife Chris of Brantford, Colleen Petersen and her husband Jan of Mississauga and the late Charlene Pysanczyn (2008) and her husband Roman of Bolton. Also dearly loved by her grandchildren Amanda Galea (Matt) and Brian Pysanczyn, Chris Pysanczyn (Lindsay) and Jon Pysanczyn (Amy), Natalie Comeau (Jon) andMatt Comeau (Sarah), Shane Petersen and Victoria Petersen and her 4 great-grandchildren. LeBLANC, Allison Joseph "Al" -
Born in River Hebert on August 25, 1932, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2004.
He was the son of the late Stephen LeBlanc and Romana White. He was the husband of Esther (Hennessey).
Allison was an employee of Sears for 36 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, the Metro Merry Makers/Ocean Waves Square Dance Club, and a charter member of the Bluenose R.V. Squares, Chapter 182. Besides his wife, Esther, he is survived by his sister, Pearl Comeau, Mississauga, Ont.; several nieces and nephews; Godchildren and Gina Young.
In his own words, "I have felt truly blessed by the love, support and care I received from family, friends and neighbors; the prayerful community of St. Lawrence Parish; Father Francis Vog-Enga; Father Henry Kline; Father Owen Connolly; Father Albert Cosgrove; faithful and compassionate family physician, Dr. William Acker; Monica Flinn and all the 'angels' of the Home Palliative Care and the VON. Gerard Michael LeBlanc
We regret to announce the death of Gerard Michael LeBlanc of Ottawa, Ont. Born in Joggins, N.S., April 11, 1954, he was the son of John Darrell and the late Alice (Terrio) LeBlanc. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Irene (Hubert) LeBlanc and a brother Jim (Lynda) of Hamilton, Ont.; aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was predeceased by his mother and two brothers, Darrell and Patrick in infancy. He was a graduate of River Hebert High School and was employed by the Federal Government as an economist with the Grains and Oil Feed Division for over 30 years. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Joggins at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Ragged Reef Cemetery, or to a charity of your choice.

Lawrence Arthur LeBlanc
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lawrence Arthur LeBlanc age 83 of Minudie, Cumberland County announce his passing at the home of his niece Trudy Latour in Middle Sackville, NS.
Born in Minudie, he was a son of the late Murray and Grace (Burke) LeBlanc.
Lawrence was a truck driver for many years for Farmers Dairy. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time at his camp in Shulee with his friends. It was at his camp where Lawrence hosted many family reunions which he enjoyed.
He is survived by his siblings Catherine Ann Morris of Lower Sackville, NS, Darrell LeBlanc of River Hebert, Garnet LeBlanc of Amherst, Donna Butler of Dartmouth, Carol Ann Droesbeck of Salisbury, NB, Susan Smith of Saint John, NB and Randy (Kim) LeBlanc of River Hebert, special friend Gail Persil of Lower Sackville and her son Shawn, his two children Jordan and Kody, who Lawrence loved dearly, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by brothers Jack, Curtis and Wayne.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. in St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie with Father Craig Christenson officiating followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments held in St. Paul’s Hall in River Hebert.

DARRELL J. LEBLANC

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darrell Joseph LeBlanc age 76 of River Hebert in the early hours of Wednesday, July 18, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Minudie, NS, Darrell was a son of the late Murray and Grace (Burke) LeBlanc.
Raised in Minudie, Darrell began his career at Farmers Dairy until he secured a position with CN Railway where he worked until his retirement following 35 years of service.
A true outdoorsman by heart, he loved hunting, fishing, gardening as well as curling.
He was well loved and respected therefore there are too many friends to mention, but you know who you are.
Darrell will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his long-time partner, Doris (Windy) White; stepdaughters, Wilma White, Valerie White; step sons, Mark White, Jeff White; brothers, Randy (Kim), Garnet; sisters, Susan Smith, Donna Butler, Carol Ann Drosebeck; grandchildren, Dwayne Edwards, Danielle White, Amber MacKay; best friend, Steven (Carol) Burke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Ann Morris; brothers, Lawrence, Jack, Curtis and Wayne.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St, Amherst 9902) 667-9906. Interment will follow in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie, NS.

LeBLANC. John Wayne - Dartmouth It with great sadness that we must announce the passing of John "Wayne" LeBlanc after a long battle with Cancer. Born in Saint John, N.B. and raised in River Hebert he is survived by his wife Glenda (Purdy), daughter Shannon, son-in-law Christopher O'Shea and grandson Morgan. Wayne is predeceased by Mother Grace, partner Walter LeBlanc and brothers Jack and Curtis. He is survived by Lawrence, Darrell, Carol Ann, Garnet, Donna, Susan, Randy. Also survived by biological mother Catherine Morris (Donald -deceased), sisters Trudy, Donalda, Bonnie and Gail as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, travelling and spending time with his family, especially his grandson. During his career he spent 25 years working for Simmons and most recently he spent the last 15 years working for Neocon International. Wayne's family would like to thank the staff of the Dartmouth General Hospital for their care and special friends Jean and Noel for spending so much time with Wayne. Curtis LeBlanc
1937-2009
LeBlanc - Curtis Frederick, 71, of Maccan, NS, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2009 at home with family Curtis was born in Minudie, NS to the Late Grace and Murray LeBlanc.
Curtis travelled while in the army and while working on the lake boats. As well, he did a wide variety of jobs all his life to provide for his family. He will be missed in his vehicle escort service as he was often requested by clients because of his expertise. Curtis loved visiting with friends and family, he enjoyed the outdoors, reading and watching movies. He was very generous, deeply spiritual, loved to share a joke, story or laughter and was a proud AA member for 28 years.
Curtis will be sadly missed by daughters, Terry (Robert Crowe) LeBlanc, Darlene (Len) Reid and Charlene LeBlanc; sons, Murray, and Jordan (Shannon Mills); grandchildren, Justin, Lacey, Kyle and Ben. Raised in Minudie in a family of 11, he is also survived by siblings, Catherine Morris, Carol-Ann (Stewart) Droesbeck, Donna Butler, Susan Smith, Lawrence, Darrell, Garnet, Wayne (Glenda), Randy (Kim).
He was predeceased by his former wife Noma (White), step-father, Walter LeBlanc, brother Jack and brother-in-law, Donnie Morris.Visitation will be held at the River Hebert Community Funeral Home on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11 am at St. Paul's the Apostle Church, River Hebert, officiated by Father David MacDonald.
