    H. Douglas (Bud) MACINTOSH, 65, River Philip, Cumberland County,formerly of Little River, died Wednesday, March 8 in Victoria GeneralHospital. Born in Mount Pleasant, Cumb. Co., he was a son of the lateFrederick and Blanche (MCCORMICK) MACINTOSH. He worked in the farmingand lumbering industry and for the N.S. Department of Transportation,retiring in 1988. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church. Hewas an avid horseman. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (CASEY); adaughter, Marilyn (Mrs. Ralph MITCHELL), Springhill; two sons, Danny,Coldbrook, Kings County; Rod, River Philip; a brother, Vernon, Oxford.He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys. The body was in MacDiarmid'sFuneral Home, Oxford. Funeral service was held Saturday in OxfordUnited Baptist Church, Rev. Blair Holden officiating. Spring burialwill be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
