    Obituary

    Kevin Paul (September 19, 1958 - February 17, 2013)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kevin James Paul, 54, of Amherst on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan. Born on September 19, 1958 in Germany, he was the son of Jack Paul and Phyllis (Delong) Paul. Following the retirement of his father with the Canadian Army in 1962, the family took up residence in Springhill. Kevin moved to Toronto, where he worked for 35 years. Later he moved back home and was employed with Premdor, following the sale of Premdor, Kevin again moved back to Toronto. In 2005 Kevin returned to Amherst where he entered the Adult High School, receiving his grade 12 diploma. Through the skills he acquired at NSCC, Kevin secured employment with the Nova Scotia Visitors Information Centre in maintenance Department. Kevin enjoyed working in the outdoors and made many friends. Kevin will be sorely missed by his mother, Phyllis, Amherst with whom he resided for the past seven years; father, Jack (Barb), Maccan; brother, Chris (Eileen), Alberta; daughter, Nicole, Ontario; nieces, nephew and extended family. Kevin was predeceased by his brother, Gary in 1979. As per Kevin’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Campbell’s Funeral Home (667-9906), Amherst; there will be no visitation or service. A private family Interment will take place in the spring in the Hillside Cemetery in Springhill, NS.
