    GORVEATT, S. Frances - Amherst, died April 10, 2006, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Tidnish, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Melissa (Ogden) Briggs. Surviving are husband, Arnold; daughter, Shirley Burgess; son, Rodney; grandchildren, Kim, Terry, Michael; great-grandchildren, Katie, Megan, Aiden. She was predeceased by sisters, Annie Strang, Pearl Stevens, Juanita Sprague, Emily Briggs; grandson, Rodney Jr. Private funeral at a later date.
