EATON, Effie C. - 85, Southampton, Cumberland Co., died July 4, 1997, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Southampton, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Marjorie (Brown) Siddall. She taught school for 30 years in Cumberland County, retiring as principal of the Brookdale School. Surviving are daughter, Sheila, Dartmouth; son, Wayne, Debert; sister, Mrs. Dorothy Skinner, Southampton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
