WILLIAMS, Gladys Martha - 92, Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Hopewell, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2002, in the villa. Born in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Olivia (Mattinson) Dixon. She was resident of Hopewell most of her life but has been a guest in Haven Brook Manor and Valley View Villa since 1995. Gladys was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell. She is survived by daughters, Joan (Donald) Mills, Hopewell; Betty Barkhouse, Riverton; sons, Glenn (Betty), Bedford; Monte (Heather), Hopewell; daughter-in-law, Doris Williams, New Glasgow; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George; son, Leo; daughter-in-law, Phyllis; son-in-law, John. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, where funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Foxbrook Cemetery, Hopewell. Donations in Gladys' memory to a charity of your choice.

WILLIAMS, George Leo - 65, 363 Brother St., New Glasgow, died May 22, 1996, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Riverview, Cumberland Co., he was a son of Gladys (Dixon) Williams, Haven Brook Manor, Riverton and the late George Williams. He retired from Michelin in 1991. He was a member of Michelin Social Club and bowling league and St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Trenton. Surviving are his wife, the former Doris Murphy; sisters, Joan (Mrs. Don Mills), Hopewell; Betty Barkhouse, Riverton; brothers, Glen, Bedford; Monte, Hopewell; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Phyllis Benjamin. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Trenton, Rev. Wilfred Wagner officiating. Family flowers only. Donations to any charity.
