Obituary

MATTINSON, Verne MacKay - 61, Hilden, Colchester County, died January 23, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital.  Born in Riverview, Cumberland County, he was a son of the late Floyd and Margaret (MacKay) Mattinson.  He was an industrial engineer and an adherent of Hilden United Church.  He is survived by his wife, the former Donna Brown; son, Scott, Hilden; two daughters, Susan (Mrs. David Frank), Bridgewater; Mary Lou, Hilden; brother, Donn, Riverview; a grandson.  He was predeceased by a sister, Muriel.  Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. David Lutes officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Burial will be held at a later date.  Family flowers only.  Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
