Obituary
Mrs. Leta Audrey Bell of Elmwood Dr., Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday September 21, 1997 after a lengthy illness. Born on August 8, 1922 in Little River, NB, she was the daughter of the late William Guy Geldart and Fannie Louise Oulton. Mrs. Bell was an employee of Marvins Biscuits until 1960, after which she was a homemaker. She attended Mountain View United Church. She is survived by her husband, James P. Bell; one son, James D. Bell (Angela) of Moncton; one grandson, Stephen James Bell of Moncton; two brothers, Eric Geldart of Moncton, Holly Geldart of Little River; one half brother Don Geldart of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bell was predeceased by four sisters, Erma Geldart, Maitland Geldart, Ann Hopper and Mary Alcorn and by four brothers, Reg, Arden Will and Clifford [Geldart].By request there will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton on Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Holly Edsall officiating. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.Leta married James Philip Bell 8 May 1943, Sunnybrae, , New Brunswick, Canada.
