    After a long period of failing health the death occurred Wednesday morning at the family home in Little River, Albert County of Mrs. Fannie Louisa Geldart beloved wife of Mr. William G. Geldart. The deceased lady had been bedfast for a considerable time and while her death was not entirely unexpected, yet it came as a distinct shock to members of her family, other relatives and friends. The late Mrs. Geldart was born in Elgin, Albert County, 54 years and eight months ago, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Oulton. Fof the past 15 yhears she had made her home at Little River, coming there from Alma, Albert County where she formerly resided during the earlier years of her married life. Her husband is a well known resident during the earlier years of her married life. Her husband is a well known foreman for the White Lumber Co., Ltd. Possessed of kindly qualities of head and heart, besides being a woman of high Christian character and sunny disposition, she endeared herself to a wide circle of friends who will deeply mourn her passing and extend sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. In religion she was a Methodist, later United Church and was a faithful attendant and active worker in the Little River Church prior to being laid aside by illness. The deceased leaves to mourn the loss of a lovidng wife and Mother, her husband and ll childen, 6 sons and 5 daughters. One sister Mrs. Currie Gould of Lewisville, N.B. and one brother Mr. Joseph Oulton of Little River also survive. The funeral arrangements have not been comnpleted and will be announced later.

    Mrs. Leta Audrey Bell of Elmwood Dr., Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday September 21, 1997 after a lengthy illness. Born on August 8, 1922 in Little River, NB, she was the daughter of the late William Guy Geldart and Fannie Louise Oulton. Mrs. Bell was an employee of Marvins Biscuits until 1960, after which she was a homemaker. She attended Mountain View United Church. She is survived by her husband, James P. Bell; one son, James D. Bell (Angela) of Moncton; one grandson, Stephen James Bell of Moncton; two brothers, Eric Geldart of Moncton, Holly Geldart of Little River; one half brother Don Geldart of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bell was predeceased by four sisters, Erma Geldart, Maitland Geldart, Ann Hopper and Mary Alcorn and by four brothers, Reg, Arden Will and Clifford [Geldart].By request there will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton on Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Holly Edsall officiating. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    GELDART, Eldon (Bud) WW II Veteran Passed away suddenly at home on March 24, 2006 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Royetta. Dear father of Sandra (Douglas Stone) and loving grandfather of David (Sue), Andrew (Heather) and great-grandfather of Amanda and Matthew. Will also be missed by a very special "daughters" and neighbours Paulette and Julie Chartier. He also leaves behind 3 sisters-in-law Evelyn Marks, Frances Armstrong, Marie McGuire and brother-in-law Max Cross, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Beloved husband of Pearl Butland, Dear son of Mrs Josie Geldart of Nova Scotia and the late Clifford Geldart.     GELDART, Avora F. - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Avora F.Geldart who passed away suddenly in her home on April 20th 2009. She will be greatly missed by her 3 children Willa Talbot, Troy Talbot (Joline LeBlanc), and Patricia Talbot (Trevor Bromfield) as well as 3 grand children Cole, Emily and Jessica Talbot.     LeRoy Lyle Geldart died at Oshawa General Hospital following a long lengthy illness, on Saturday, Feb 19, 1983.

    He was an Oshawa resident for the past 30 years. Son of Mr. And Mrs. Clifford Geldart, he was born July 11, 1950. Mr. Geldart survived my his wife, the former Elaine Harris; his parents, Clifford Lyle and Pearl Geldart; two sons, Derrick LeRoy and Tyler James, both at home; four sisters, Mrs. Bruce Geldart (Willa), Mrs. Charles Hannah (Sheila), Mrs. Kevin Young (Roberta), Marvena Geldart, all of Oshawa; a brother Dale Geldart of Oshawa; grandmother Josie Geldart of
    Nova Scotia and Mrs. Anne Butland of Oshawa.

    Mr. Geldart was at Armstrong Funeral Home. Service was held in the chapel on Monday, Feb. 21, Followed by interment at Oshawa Union cemetery.

    Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

    The Fire
    It was a cold, snowy & windy day on Friday, February 19, 1965 when Judy Gail
    Geldart 14 mouths old lost her life due to a fire at her parent.s home on Logon
    Road in Dutch Settlement. She was always known as Gail and her remains are
    still at the site of the fire, except for two bones which were found and are buried
    at the Church cemetery in Dutch Settlement, Nova Scotia. It was determined that
    the cause of the fire was electrical, which had started in the basement. Gail.s
    mother, Millicent was able to get, Bruce age 7, Timothy age 5, Deborah age 4 out
    of the house and as she was running back into the house to get Eldon from his
    crib on the second floor, and while doing so, Timothy ran back into the house and
    hid under the bed! Therefore, she had to once again take Timothy to safety, and
    it was then that the propane tank that supplied the cook stove and heating the hot
    water tank which was located in the basement suddenly exploded, blowing the
    side of the house out. Fortunately by this time Timothy and Eldon had been
    taken to safety and the old house was burning like kindling wood, but once again
    Millicent attempted to enter the burning house this time through the basement
    window to reach Gail but was held back by neighbors who knew nothing further
    could be done to save the remaining child. Everything was happening so fast, and
    unfortunately due to the road conditions the fire trucks were slow in reaching the
    burning house. There was no possible way to reach the small child as the whole
    house was up in flames and to this day, 2008 Millicent still believes if the
    neighbors had not held her back! She would have been able to rescue her wee
    daughter Gail! Millicent is still haunted by the screams of her dying daughter!
