    Misc:
Information supplied by Jim Wood in 1993
    ---------------------------------------------------------
One of the pictures identified a lady, who probably was his first wife, as Cora. Family lore has it that his second marriage was to an adopted daughter and in one of the pictures there is a definitely younger woman with him, but she is not
identified. A paper in one of the photo albums is a license issued to a John Thorpe in 1900 to be steam engineer on boats in New Hampshire waters.

His death date was reported by his nephew, John A. Parker, who was acting as his estate lawyer and wrote to relatives in 25 Jan 1955. Jim Wood wrote in 1996 that he still has the letter his wife Ethel received 41 years ago.

Place of death was not stated but may have been near Lancaster, NH where his nephew lived and wrote to relatives during the estate settlement.
