Obituary
Idella M. Wheaton, age 94, of Amherst, passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Monday, October 25, 2010.
Born in Lorneville, NS, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Orrie (Fields) Feltham.
Idella was employed by Metropolitan Store in Amherst for over 22 years, retiring in 1981. She was an adherent of the 1st Baptist Church. A great lover of music, she especially enjoyed Old Time and Blue Grass and attended several such functions. She loved playing cards and was a member of the Turn About Card Club. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Amherst, Branch #10. She was a member of the Ladies Afternoon and the Senior Bowling League.
She will be dearly missed by her daughters Joan Robichaud (Harold Pettigrew), Amherst, Claudette (Arnold) Brownell, Lower Sackville, NS; son Bruce, Beaver Bank, NS; 9 grandchildren, Michael Robichaud, Kimberly Field, Brian Robichaud, Angela Brewer, Melanie Dospital, Kelly Henebury, Emily Wheaton, Justin Wheaton and Brittany Wheaton and 4 great grandchildren, Megan Henebury, Devon Dospital, David Dospital and Olivia Wheaton-Fraser.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Claude in 1968; sisters, Doris Chappell and Blanche Berry; brothers Hollis and Charley Feltham.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 2 pm, Rev. Byron Corkum officiating. Burial will follow in the Amherst Cemetery.

WHEATON, Ernest Sterling Orr - 57, 23 Central Ave., Amherst, died February 22, 1998, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Amherst, he was a son of Doris (Wheaton) Chappell, Tidnish, and the late Edson Wheaton. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1958-1961, at which time he was an avid boxer. He was then employed at Christie Trunk and Baggage. He was a cabinet maker for Bendix General Homes for over 10 years. He was a life member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 10, Amherst. He enjoyed playing the accordion as a hobby. Surviving are his wife, the former Dianne Gilroy; stepfather, Russell Chappell, Tidnish; son, Dennis; daughters, Kimberly (Mrs. Steven Hicks), Pamela, all of Amherst; three grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Al, Wylie, Howard. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, Rev. Allan Griffin officiating. Spring burial in Amherst Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society.

Kevin Vaughn Berry 1955 - 2002
Kevin V. Berry, 46, of Riverview, passed away as a result of a traffic accident at Cape Enrage, Albert Co. NB on Monday, July 01, 2002. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Vaughn L. Berry and the late Blanche L. (Feltham) Berry. A long time resident, Kevin grew up and attended school in Riverview. He was an avid Race Fan, he enjoyed, NASCAR and Formula racing. He is survived by his father Vaughn L. Berry of Riverview; sister Nancy and her husband Arthur Linkletter of Turtle Creek; niece Heather Jane Linkletter and a nephew Trevor Scott Linkletter. and also by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Blanche L. Berry. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Road Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
