    Yvonne LeBlanc, 90, wife of the late Johnny LeBlanc formerly of Saint-André-LeBlanc passed away on Monday, May 2nd, 2011 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Saint-André-LeBlanc on October 13, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Bourque) LeBlanc.
    She will be grealty missed by her loving family, three daughters: Jeannette Boudreau (Guy) of Cormier Village, Huberte Bourgeois (Arthur) of Saint-André-LeBlanc and Monette LeBlanc (Denis) of Cap Pelé; three sons: Alphonse (Dorine) of Grand Barachois, Roger (Roberta) of Saint-André-LeBlanc and Françis (Simonne Gallant) of Scoudouc; one brother Acquila LeBlanc(Delphine) of Saint-André-LeBlanc; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews.
    Besides her husband Johnny (1991), she is also predeceased by one infant son Ronald, four sisters: Mathilde, Rita, Yvonne and Régina and by two brothers: Alphonse and Edgar.
    The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé(577-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m.Funeral mass will be held Ste.     Ida Therese LEBLANC
    LeBlanc, Ida Therese (Sept. 22, 1927-April 22, 2012) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Ida LeBlanc on April 22, 2012 at Parkview Place in Oshawa. Cherished mother of Marion LeBlanc (Wilson Gavin), Lorraine Reznak (Josef) and Ruth Langille (Archie). Adored Nana of Sheryl Altvator (Wally), David Stokes, Jason Bickle (Theresa), Jeff Bickle (Julie), James Langille and Ryan Langille (Lisa), and "Big Nana" of Dakota, Isabella and Andrew. Ida will also be missed by long time best friend and "God-send to the family" June. Ida was very involved in senior's activities at Parkview and will be fondly remembered for her quilting and bunko art. She loved to bake and will be remembered for her pies! Her passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of all who were touched by her. Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St E., Oshawa 905-433-4711) on Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday April 25 at 11 am. Burial at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens to follow.     1928–2016

    Anita Cormier, 88, of Manoir de la Butte, Cap–Pelé and formerly of Saint–André–LeBlanc passed away at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont UHC on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016. Born in St–André on April 11th,1928, she was the daughter of the late Napoléon and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Goguen. Before her retirement, she was employed with Joe Landry. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Yvonne Vautour (late Yvon) of Trois–Ruisseaux and Nicole Cormier (Omer) of Saint–André–LeBlanc; three sisters: Anna Cormier and Eleonor Leger both of Cap–Pelé and Léonie Boleyn of Saint–André–LeBlanc; three brothers: Alphonse Goguen (Léona) of Saint–André–LeBlanc and Léonce Goguen (Léona) of Cap–Pelé and Albert Goguen (Corrine) of Five Island; four grandchildren: Nancy, Rachel, Yves and Dawn; six great–grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Auguste Cormier (1992); one infant son, Paul–Émile; one sister, Yvonne LeBlanc; two brothers: Adrice and Arthur. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap–Pelé (577–3297) on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure.      -Age 87, of Lower Five Islands, Colchester County passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at South Cumberland Community Care Center, Parrsboro. Born in Cap-Pele, he was a son of the late Napoleon and Elizabeth (Leblanc) Goguen. He worked as a clam digger all of his life.     Alphonse Goguen, 90, of Faubourg du Mascaret “Pavillon Richard”, Moncton and formerly of St-André-LeBlanc, NB, passed away on Thursday, May 18th,2023, at his residence. Born in St-André-LeBlanc, NB, he was the son of the late Napoléon and the late Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Goguen.
    Prior to his retirement, he had worked many different jobs, at the lobster shop, smokehouse and carpentry. Alphonse was a family man, he would of talk to anyone, loved joking and was always happy. He enjoyed nature, especially being in the woods. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Léona (LeBlanc) Goguen; his daughters: Verna Goguen (Louis) of Moncton and Darlene Goguen-Gaudet (Michel) of Dieppe; his grandsons: Mathieu and Denis; his sisters: Léonie Boleyn (late Mike) of St-André-LeBlanc and Eleonor Leger (late Adrice) of Cap-Pelé; his brother, Léonce Goguen (Léona) of Cap-Pelé, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters: Yvonne, Anna and Anita and by his brothers: Adrice, Arthur and Albert.

    Donalda Fagan, 72, wife of the late Rhéal Fagan, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013.  Born June 3, 1941 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Phélonise (LeBlanc) Thibodeau.
    Donalda enjoyed cooking and receiving her family at home, especially at Christmas time. She enjoyed to cook and crochet. She made numerous afghans.
    She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Claudette LeBlanc (Donald) of Shediac River, Donald (Catherine) of Cocagne, Hubert (Carmel) of Shediac,  Valeri (late Kathleen) of Riverview, Huberte and Albert (Glenda) of Robichaud; many nieces and nephews.
    Besides her husband (2006), Donalda is also predeceased by her son, Bobby(1998); two brothers: Claude and Valmond.
    The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642, Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Monday November 25 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and Tuesday November 26 from 9:30 am until departure for Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C.     LeBlanc, Donald Joseph Arthur - 88, Oxford Junction and formerly of Joggins, passed away Friday, June 11th, 2021 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Joggins on June 23, 1932, he was a son of the late Gabriel and Melinda (Vienneau) LeBlanc. Donald attended school in Joggins until Grade 9, then River Hebert Rural High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. FX in 1954 and Bachelor of Education degree from Mount Allison University in 1956. Donald taught school at Liverpool Regional High School for 6 years, River Hebert District High School for 29 years and taught Driver’s Education for 25 years. He was a former member of River Hebert and Oxford Legions and current member of Joggins Legion, long-time member of Oxford Area Lions Club, honourary member of Amherst Kinsman Club, Commanding Officer of River Hebert Royal Cadet Corp, then a member of Oxford Army Cadet Corp and Member of NS Army Cadet League of Canada. Donald was past Secretary/Treasurer of Joggins Volunteer Fire Dept and Ragged Reef Cemetery. He was one of the founding members of Joggins Youth Club and managed it for 6 years. He was director at Dickey Park Pool for 28 years, where many lasting friendships were made. He participated in and coached many sports teams in Cumberland County. Donald was also a Commissioner of Oaths for Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife, the former Joanna McLeod; son, Michael; daughters, Charlene (Mike) Daborn; Joanne LeBlanc (Richard Cormier); son-in-law, George Damery; grandchildren, Jason (Charmaine), John, Calvin (Laura) and Courtney; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan LeBlanc and Marie (the late Chester) Sanford; stepsons, Michael (Grace) McLeod; Chad (Kim) McLeod; Jeffrey (Marianne) McLeod; stepdaughter, Jan (John) Porter; 9 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marie Damery; former wife and mother of his children, Betty (Terrio) LeBlanc. A special thank you to the nurses and all other staff at CRHCC for the wonderful care they gave Donald in the hospital.     He is survived by three daughters: Murielle Goguen (Émile) of St. André, Linda Goguen (Normand) of Haute-Aboujagane and Nicole Landry (Rodney Doucet) of Shediac; one son, Georges (Linda) of Portage; four sisters: Géralda Doiron (Philippe), Janita Burke (late Alfred), Bernice Landry (late Roméo) and Rosella Leger (Roger) all of Cap-Pelé; two brothers: Ovila (Prémilia) of Grand-Barachois and Gérald (Rolande) of Cap-Pelé; one son in-law, Russel Landry of Portage; one sister in-law, Marie Doiron-Leger of Moncton; six grandchildren: Joël, Joline, Mathieu, Mélanie, Jessica and Justin; eight great-grandchildren: Britney, Alex, Jasmine, Alissa, Dom, Miguel, Jonathan and Samuel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his wife, Florine; one brother, Claude.
    A private funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, 2646 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, Friday October 30, 2020. Interment will be in the St-Thérèse d’Avila cemetery, Cap-Pelé. The funeral mass will be videotaped and will be available on his obituary on our Website by the end of the day.
    In memory of Clairice, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
    Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
