    BANGOR - Leila L. (Price) Pearson, 95, wife of the late Andrew Pearson of Auburn, Mass., died Feb. 3, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 19, 1915, in South Brewer, the daughter of James Lee and Mabel (Mills) Price. Leila was a 1932 graduate of Brewer High School. She moved to Massachusetts in 1936 and worked in a private sanatorium until her marriage in 1940. They were married in a Friends Meeting Church - Quaker - where they both sang in the choir. They served on many committees and were youth advisors. Leila served as Sunday school superintendent and treasurer. They enjoyed their camp and the outdoors, including hiking, swimming, hunting and fishing. After the death of her husband and other family members, Leila and her sister, Eva, she moved back to Maine in 1990, and lived in Bangor since then. She enjoyed taking trips, doing crafts, including knitting and plastic canvas, and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are a special niece, Phyllis Scribner of Brewer; special nephew, Alan King and his wife, Sonja, of Brewer; great-nieces and great-nephews, Diane Stimpson and her husband, Lee, Russell Scribner, Lynn Poulin and her husband, Keith, and sons, Craig Poulin and his wife, Kate, and Neil Poulin, Cathy Segee and her husband, Bruce, and daughter, Molly and sons, Ben and Sam, Andrew King and daughter, Allysa, Sean King, Bethann King, Christina White and son, Aaron; several cousins and special Pearson families in Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her husband; sisters, Elizabeth King of Auburn, Mass., Eva Price of Bangor and Florence King of Brewer; and nephews, James and Daniel King of Auburn, Mass. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Oak Hill Cemetery, Brewer.
