Mr. Leslie Freeman Pauley, age 82, of Story Road, Moncton, NB, passed away on Monday, February 9, 1998 at The Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born on June 9, 1915 in Melrose, NB, he was the son of the late William F. and Emma W. (Stright) Pauley. He was a retired supervisor from C.N.R. with over 36 years service. He was a member of The Port Elgin United Church. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Barbara McKenna (Brian) of Truro, NS, Mrs. Marilyn Stevens (Walter) of Moncton; two sons, Robert Pauley (Lynne) of Scotch Settlement, Edward Pauley (Gloria) of Moncton; one twin sister, Mrs. Helen Adams of Moncton; one brother, Eric Pauley of Truro, NS; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Evelyn (Starratt) Pauley and one brother, Reggie. Remains resting at Cadman?s Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at The Lewisville United Baptist Church on Thursday, February 12, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Brian MacArthur officiating. Intermnt in New Elgin Cemetery at a later date, Elgin, NB. Donations to the memorial of the donor?s choice would be appreciated by the family.Leslie married Frances Evelyn Starratt 22 Jul 1939.
