    Louise (Williams) MacGregor
    July 13, 1943 - February 28, 2023 (age 79)

    Louise (Williams) MacGregor passed away peacefully at the Gray Nun Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on February 23, 2023. Born in Moncton on July 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Amanda (Arsenault) Williams.
    She will be sadly missed by her daughter Rose-Marie (Chris) and grand-daughter Dorothy, four sisters Marguerite, Yvonne, Rose-Marie and Dianne and two brothers George and Alyre Jr.
    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ronald and infant sister Rose-Marie.
    Funeral mass will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church in Edmonton, Alberta on Friday, March 10, 2023.

    Marie Louise MacGregor


    On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Mrs. Marie Louise MacGregor passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, at the age of 79.
    She was born in 1943, and grew up in Moncton and Dorchester, New Brunswick. She completed her teaching degree in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and taught for many years with Edmonton Public Schools. She was an avid reader, traveler, yoga practitioner, and an active member of the CWL and Catholic Church. She could often be found tutoring students in French, reading for the book club to which she belonged, and preparing to lead history discussions at the senior center.
    Louise will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, George, and Alyre Jr (Carol); sisters: Marguerite, Yvonne, Rose Marie (late Paul), and Diane (late Danny); daughter, Rose-Marie (Chris); stepchildren: Alan, Ranald, Alton, Bruce, Bernie, and Anne; granddaughter, Dorothy; and step-grandchildren.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; parents: Alyre and Amanda; and sister, Rose Marie.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their care and compassion.
    A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 6310 118 Ave, Edmonton, Alberta. A burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, Alberta.
