    Obituary

    The death of Hilda Dixon, 92, of Sackville occurred at St. John Regional Hospital on Friday, May 29, 1998. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Amasa and Dormer (OULTON) Hicks. Twice married she was first married to William Atkinson and laterly to John Dixon with whom was celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She is survived by two sons, Edward Atkinson, Bowmanville, Ont., and Roy Atkinson, Chiliwack, B.C.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including William (Rose) Holmes, Sackville, Sally (Kevin) Evans and Wanda (Dana) Bradshaw, both of Hampton, and Carol Atkinson of Sackville, who resided with her during their growing years; two sisters, Alice Bembridge and Marion Hicks, both of Sackville. In addition to her two husbands, Will Atkinson and John Dixon she was predeceased by children, Carl and Georgina and by infants Holly and Donald, and by sisters, Daisy and Molly. The remains rested at Jones Funeral Home, Sackville where funeral service was held on Monday, June 1, 1998, Rev. Dr. Eldon Hay officiating. Burial in the Point de Bute Cemetery.
