Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade, because one loved is gone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart,
For as long as there’s a memory, they live on in our heart.
Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much.

Obituary
WELLS, SCOTT MATTHEW - July 10, 1986 - July 8, 2009 - Point de Bute, N.B. - It is with sadness that the family of Scott Matthew Wells, age 22, announce his passing on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Sackville, N.B. Born in Amherst, N.S. on July 10, 1986, he was the son of Vickie (Spence) and Wayne Wells. Scott will always be remembered as being a person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was always laughing and happy and no matter what his age, hugs were always very important to Scott, both to be given as well as received. Scott loved football and was always adventurous and willing to try anything. He was a proud member of the Point de Bute Volunteer Fire Department. Scott will be sadly missed by his parents, Vickie and Wayne Wells of Point de Bute, N.B.; sister, Amanda Wells (Chris Snowdon) of Amherst, N.S.; his high school sweetheart, Lindsay Stiles of Sackville, N.B.; paternal grandparents, Everett and Lynn Wells of Sussex, N.B.; maternal grandparents, Albert and Sarah Spence of Amherst, N.S.; great-grandmother Dona Chapman of Port Elgin, N.B.; niece Taysha Snowdon of Amherst, N.S. and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place, and the family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Point de Bute Fire Department will hold a service at 7PM at the beginning of visitation. The funeral service will be held from the Middle Sackville Baptist Church, Sackville, N.B. on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 6 PM with Rev. Vernon Vickruck officiating. Burial will take place in the Point de Bute Cemetery following the reception at the church.
