Census:
She did not appear on the 1851 census. However she is found on the 1861 census and is shown as being between brothers, Dosity and Polet. Since brother Charles was born one year after Dosity, then Catherine must have been born in the gap between Charles and Polet and must have been born in late 1842 or early 1843. Catherine appears on the 1861 census with her parents and eleven siblings.-note by A.Owen, March2015
