    COPP, VICTOR - 1933-2009 - Victor Copp of Oxbow passed away after a lengthy illness at the Tobique Valley Manor on September 13th, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Born in Northview, NB, on April 8th, 1933, he was the son of the late Randolph and Clara (Gough) Copp. Victor leaves behind his wife of 54 years Nan (Goodine) Copp; daughters, Judy (Ray) Brewer of Perth-Andover, Denise (Jerry Parish) Copp of Yoho Lake, NB; son, Andy Copp of Plaster Rock; grandchildren, Johnathan Brewer of Halifax, NS, Katherine Brewer of Halifax, NS, Sarah Copp of Haley Brook, NB and sisters, Marva Russell of Haliburtin, ON, Carol Henderson of Mississauga, ON. Victor was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Stanley and Everald; sisters, Jean, Marion, Kathleen and Edith; and his son-in-law, Marty DesRoches. Victor was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29, and an Elks Club member. He lived all his life on the Tobique moving to Oxbow and could not imagine living anywhere else. He loved hunting and fishing and spent many years entertaining sports and friends at his camp on the Tobique. Talking and spinning yarns to make people laugh was a favorite pastime. Victor worked on the log drive, was a woodsman, oil furnace installer, guide, outfitter and he and his wife owned a country store in Oxbow from 1968-1982. He loved spending time with his family and friends. In accordance with Victor's wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, 2009 at 2 pm from the Burntland Brook Cemetery with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of New Brunswick or to the Tobique Valley Manor would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.

Nan was born 5 Dec 1938, Weaver, Victoria, New Brunswick, Canada; died 21 Feb 2013, Grand Falls, , New Brunswick, Canada; was buried , Burntland Brook Cemetery, Burntland Brook, Victoria, New Brunswick, Canada.
