    Vera Belle McFarlane ,92, of Hamilton, On. and formerly Salisbury passed away Friday September 8, 2006 at the Willow Grove Nursing Home, Ancaster. Born in Lewisville, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Eliza (McRae) Tingley. Vera was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church and the Golden Age Club. Survived by her children, Arthur (June Tibando), Brace Bridge On., Dorothy Straughan and Helen Arsenault (Alfred) of Salisbury, John (Helen) and Lawrence (Kathy) of Dundas On., Barbara Duff (John), Hamilton and Raymond of Nanicoke ON; 64 grandchildren & great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and sister in law Ivy Tingley of Riverview. Predeceased by her husband Murray Parker McFarlane; son, James; daughter, Shirley; brothers, Edward, Earl, Frank, Douglas & James Tingley; sisters Irene Hall and Bertha Hopper. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held Tuesday, September 12 at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Colpitts Community Cemetery.
