    Nora Bernice Tingley 1908 - 2004 Nora Bernice Tingley,95, of Forest dale home, formerly of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2004 at the nursing home with her family by her side. Nora was born in Midway, Albert County on March 7, 1908, the daughter of the late Holmes and Susan (Huckins) Tingley. She was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church. Nora took great pride in raising her family and cherished all the times spent with them. She was a very special lady who always had a smile for everyone. She was a very caring, gentle and kind person who will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was the beloved mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her two sons, Clinton Tingley of Hopewell Hill, David Tingley of Hopewell Hill; two daughters, Cindy Stevens (Roger) of Truro, Pearl Steeves (Bernie) of Hillsborough; two sisters, Verna MacLeod of Moncton, Marie Dixson (John) of Moncton; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Tingley of Middle Sex, Dorothy Tingley of Nova Scotia, Dora Tingley of Moncton; brother-in-law, Fred Lowrey of Halifax; five precious grandchildren, Glen, Jason, Vanessa, Mark and Jennifer. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband Wilfred Tingley; three brothers, Howard, Earl (Minnie), Everett; sister, Cora Lowrey; brothers-in-law, Weldon Tingley, Donald MacLeod. Nora will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 2pm with Rev. Aubrey Trail officiating. The interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Forest Dale Auxiliary Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.     David John Tingley 1950-2008 David John Tingley, 57, of Hopewell Hill passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2008. He was born in Moncton on December 26, 1950. David was lovingly raised by Wilfred and Nora Tingley and resided in Hopewell Hill. He was a member of the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church. David worked as a janitor for the Riverside Consolidated School and also worked in the woods. He will be deeply missed by his two sons, Glenn Tingley (Tanya) and Jason Tingley (Loretta) both of Hillsborough; daughter, Amanda Sopha (Jamie)of Stanley; his seven precious grandchildren; sisters, Cindy Stevens (Roger) of Truro and Pearl Steeves (Bernie) of Hillsborough; brother, Clinton Tingley of Hopewell Hill. Besides Wilfred and Nora he was predeceased by two sisters and a brother. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Paul Steeves and Pastor Terry Branscombe conducting the service. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill in the spring. Donations to the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
