She became a widow 31 Aug 1850. She was the mother of Placide Gaudet of Ottawa(genealogical researcher). She was 18 months old when her parents left Memramcook to live in Tidiche(today Dupuis Corner) where they arrived 15 Mar 1821. P01-p.79,B.61-Marie Vienneau daug. of Francois and Marguerite Thibodault,born yesterday,baptized 18 Sep 1819.

    Occupation:
    Mme Gaudet left Cap Pele to come to reside at Memramcook at her father-in-law's, so that her son might have the opportunity of attending the College. To defray the college expenses, she availed herself of manual tasks which in turn consisted of maid, washer woman, baker and sweeper of the college.

    Marie married Placide Gaudet 4 Feb 1850, Cap Pele. Placide (son of Fidele Gaudet and Marguerite Belliveau) was born 2 Jul 1821; died 31 Aug 1850. [Group Sheet]
