    KENNEDY, GLADYS MARGARET At York Manor on Sunday June 26, 2005 Gladys Margaret Kennedy of Fredericton passed away at the age of 76. Born in Pointe-de-Bute, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Agnes (Truman) Oulton and wife of the late Harold Joseph Walter Kennedy. Gladys was a member of Holy Family Parish Church and a past member of the Ladies Auxillary branch # 25, Edmunston. She is survived by six children Sharon Kennedy of Clyde River, PEI, Linda Kennedy of Fredericton, Brian Kennedy of Alberta, Dale Kennedy of Fredericton, Colin Kennedy (Elaine) of Alberta, Kevin Kennedy (Donna) of Sussex; one grandson Casey Kennedy of Sussex; one sister Emily Dixon (Walter) of Jolicur, NB; one brother Raymond Oulton (Carmen) of San Diego; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a brother Stanley Oulton. The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Frederict0on on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Holy Family Parish Church, Hanwell Road on Thursday June 30, 2005 at 12:00 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating.     The death of Ray H. Oulton occurred in El Ajon, CA, U.S.A. on December 28, 2010 at the age of 78. Born in Point de Bute, he was the son of the late Herb and Agnes Oulton of Jolicure. He is survived by his son, Terry (Eva) of Poway, CA, U.S.A, a sister Emily (Walter) Dixon of Jolicure, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ray was predeceased by his wife Carmen (Atkinson), sister Gladys Kennedy and brother, Stanley Oulton. Cremation has taken place.

    Rhodes Clark Oulton passed peacefully on September 19, 2017 at the Sunrise of Beaconsfield. He was 89 years old. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary in November 2012, he is survived by his sons Chris, Andrew and Dave (Laura), and grandchildren Evan, Shannon and Richard. 
    Born in Verdun, Rhodes earned a degree at McGill University. From Geological Surveyor, to teacher, Principal and finally real estate agent, his C.V. reflects a diverse and interesting life. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and mentor. He touched the lives of many students, had a great sense of humour and an unwavering optimism. Rhodes loved to fish, golf, play tennis, ride horses and he was an avid sports fan. He remains one of the finest men we have ever known.
    There will be a gathering to celebrate Rhodes' life on September 30 at the Sunrise of Beaconsfield, 505 Elm Street (upstairs), from 2 - 5 pm. Friends and family are welcome.

    Joyce Evelyn Dixon 1956-2016
    The death of Joyce Evelyn Dixon, 59, occurred at home in Sackville on Sunday, February 28, 2016 after a lengthy illness.  Joyce was born in Sackville, a daughter of Walter and Emily (Oulton) Dixon.
    Joyce was a member of the Jolicure United Church.  
    For years she had worked for Lounsbury's in Sackville, both the furniture store and car dealership.  Most recently she loved her work with AFG Electrical in Moncton up until her retirement.  She was very kind with a strong heart and loved caring for everyone.  She enjoyed spending quality time with her nieces and nephews and loved all children. Joyce enjoyed her time with all of her family.
    She will be deeply missed by her parents, Walter and Emily Dixon, Jolicure; one sister, Maggie (Brian) Dixon, Dartmouth; four brothers, Stanley (Anne), Mates Corner, Jeffrey (Darlene), Sackville, Herb (Colleen), Watford, ON and Wayne, Mt. Whatley; nieces and nephews, Scott (Natalie), Peter (Christine), Patrick (Cassey), Carter (Victoria), Jeffrey (Megan), Matthew (Jess), Emily, and Melissa; grand-nieces and nephews, Molly, Janelle, Celinda, Mason, Rory and Porter.  She will also be missed by special extended family, Holly Kay, Nicholas Wry (Sara and Mason), Stephanie Wry (Mitch); her much loved, furry friend, Elmo; her special caregiver Kim Lewis and her stepson, Bradley Read, and his father, Ronald David Read
    Joyce was predeceased by her son Christopher Murray Dixon-Read in 1997 and her infant sister, Helen Dixon in 1957; her nephew, Walter Dixon in 1986, as well as her maternal grandparents, Herb and Agnes Oulton and her paternal grandparents, Walter and Ida Dixon.
    Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home
    , 70 Bridge Street, Sackville from where a time of visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral at 2 pm.  Wayne Jarvis DLM and Rev. Dr. Eldon Hay officiating.
