    SCOTCH SETTLEMENT, NB - Mildred M. Teed, 97, of Scotch Settlement, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday December 15, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Dives) Tingley. Mildred was a retired secretary for Marvens Ltd., and several law firms in Moncton. She was a member of St. David's United Church, Scotch Settlement and Adherent of Mountain View United Church, life member of St. David's United Church U.C.W. and served her church in various capacities in past years. Former leader of the MacDougall Settlement 4H Garment Club, member of the 99 senior's club in her community, member of Frank H. Tingley #5 O.E.S. and former member of the Shediac Riding Club. Mildred had a great love for horses, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, quilting, working in her garden, baking and entertaining her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mildred will be sadly missed by her daughters, Margaret Murray (Late Lloyd) Scotch Settlement, Carol Gordon (Late Kendrick) Truro, NS; son, Ralph (Janet), Moncton; grandchildren, Katherine; Stephen; Michael; Jeffrey; Gordon; Mariam; and Deborah; 12 great grandchildren; special friend of the family, Leonard Coates, Scotch Settlement; brother, Blair Tingley, Riverside Albert; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Ernest E. Teed (1993); sister, Hilda; brother, Cecil. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, December 18, 2005, 2pm, Rev. Paul Cumming officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Scotch Settlement Cemetery.     1915 - 2010 - Blair Allen Tingley, age 94 years, of Forest Dale Nursing Home in Riverside Albert and formerly of Lower Coverdale, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Born in Chester, NB on December 31, 1915 he was the son of the late John and Edith (Deeves) Tingley. Blair was a veteran of World War II. He retired from General Motors in Moncton in 1974. He will be sadly missed by his children Janet Tingley of Toronto, John Tingley (Denise) of Hopewell Cape, Elizabeth "Libby" Tingley of Toronto, and Bruce Tingley (Tanya) of Riverview; also by his loving grandchildren Blair, Jordy, Jade and Emily. Predeceased by his cherished wife Mimie (Matthews) Tingley; brother Cecil Tingley; sisters Mildred Teed and Hilda Williamson.
    There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment in Wilmot Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff and management of the Forest Dale nursing home for their special care and compassion given to our father during his recent illness. In memory of Blair, donations made to the Forest Dale Home Women's Auxiliary (5836 King Street, Riverside Albert, NB E4H 4B9), N.B chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of the donor's choice.     Age 63, of Falmouth, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2014 at Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on November 15, 1950, Shari was the eldest daughter of the late Harold and Joyce Nelson.Shari worked as a receptionist and assistant in a variety of positions within the medical profession as well as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Halifax area. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Atwell, Falmouth; daughters, Stacey Atwell (Robert Bearisto), Dartmouth; and Amy Atwell, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and granddaughter, Ava Bearisto, Dartmouth. Also surviving are brothers, Scott (Ann) Nelson, Calgary, Alberta; Ken (Clara Michelin) Nelson, Labrador; and sisters, Kim Nelson, Windsor, Ontario; Heather Nelson, Halifax; Nancy Nelson (Tony Colaiacovo), Halifax; and Jennifer Nelson (Andrew Allen), Toronto, Ontario; as well as many nephews and nieces. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by nieces, Rachael Nelson and Emily Patterson.Shari always welcomed others with open arms, a warm smile and a loving home. She enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening and will be remembered by many as a loving wife, devoted mother and extremely proud grandmother.The family wishes to extend special thanks to the medical and nursing staff of both Hants Community Hospital and Halifax Infirmary 8.1, QEII.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held Thursday, September 25 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 26 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev.
