    Délia Niles 1918-2007 Délia Niles, 89, wife of the late Aimé Niles of Gaspé Street, Dieppe and formerly of Shediac passed away on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-André, August 7, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Émilienne (Bourgeois) LeBlanc. Prior to her retirement, Délia was employed with the Moncton Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her loving family; son, Gary and his wife Joan of Fredericton; a sister, Stella Cormier of Shediac; a brother, Damien LeBlanc (Jeannine) of Saint-André-LeBlanc; two grandchildren, Natalie Ploss (Christopher) of Neepawa, MB and Jennifer MacLeod (Matthew) of Moncton. Besides her husband, Aimé, she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, Anita, Robert, Madeleine, Éloi, Doris and Emery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Wednesday, from 12:30a.m. until time of departure (1:20a.m.).     Stella Cormier
    1924-2014
    Stella Cormier, 90, passed away on Thursday February 20, 2014 at the Auberge du Soleil Special Care Residence in Dieppe. Born on January 12, 1924 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Émilienne (Bourgeois) LeBlanc.
    A resident of Cap-Pelé most of her life, Stella moved to Shediac where she resided at Residence Belcourt for 24 years. The last four years of her life she resided at Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, where she felt comfortable with the residence and caring staff.
    She is survived by two daughters: Ella Wagner (Barry) of Moncton and Marie Boudreau of Shediac; three sons: Ola (Jeannette) and Paul Melanson (Brenda) all of Grand-Barachois and Legis (Huberte) of Dieppe; two daughter in-laws: Anne-Marie Cormier (late Ovide "Bibi") of Shediac and Gisèle Cormier (late Roger) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel (1979); two sons: Roger and Ovide "Bibi"; four sisters: Anita, Dorice, Delia and Madeleine; four brothers: Robert, Eloi, Emery and Damien.
    The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Sunday February 23, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday from  9:30 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Monday February 24, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
    In memory of Stella, a contribution to the Cap-Pelé cemetery or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

    LEBLANC, DAMIEN P. - Damien P. LeBlanc, 82 of Saint-André-LeBlanc passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Saint-André January 18, 1927, he was the son of the late Pierre LeBlanc and the late Émilienne Bourgeois. Mr. LeBlanc was a heavy equipment operator with J. D. Irving Woodland prior to his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Jeannine (Goguen) LeBlanc; two daughters: Rosaline Léger (Oscar) of Haute Aboujagane, Pierrette LeBlanc at home; three sons: Valeri (Françine) of Saint-André-LeBlanc, Jacques (Lucille) of Shediac, Michel (Monique) of Cormier Village; one sister Stella Cormier of Shediac, seven grandchildren: Réjean, Yves, Julie, Jason, Brandon, André, Denis, one great granddaughter Jolène and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Bernard; three brothers: Robert, Éloi, Emery; and by four sisters: Anita Cormier, Dorice Cormier, Délia Niles and Madeleine Vautour. No visitation by personal request.     Yolande Rousselle
    1945-2016
    Yolande Rousselle, 71, wife of the late Pascal Rousselle of the Villa Providence in Shediac, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 after a long illness at her residence. Born July 16, 1945 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Thadée and Doris (LeBlanc) Cormier.
    She is survived by her two children: Bernice Rousselle-Babineau (Ronnie) of Richibouctou-Village and Bernard (Natalie) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters: Albertina Léger (Clarice) and Délia Vautour (Antoine) both of Cap-Pelé; four grandchildren: Mathieu, Tyler, Jérémie and Monica and many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband Pascale and a brother Réginald.
    A private funeral service was celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Frenette Chapel and Cremation Centre. Inurnment was in the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. parish cemetery, Cap-Pelé.
    In memory of Yolande, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association be appreciated.
    Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).

    Roger Cormier
    1949-2013


    Roger Cormier, 64, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Friday November 1st, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on January 27th, 1949 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of Stella (LeBlanc) Cormier of Dieppe and the late Lionel Cormier.
    A lifelong fisherman Roger began his fishing with his father at the young age of 13. He was also an avid Montreal Canadians Fan. Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Gisèle (Gaudet); three children: Mario (Monique) and Marc (Donna) of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Sylvie Cormier (Guy Gallant) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters: Ella Wagner (Barry) of Moncton, Marie Boudreau of Shediac; three brothers: Ola (Jeannette) of Grand-Barachois and Légis (Huberte) of Dieppe, Jean-Paul Melanson (Brenda) of Grand-Barachois; six grandchildren: Josie, Ghislain, Patrick, Danie, Karine and Cedric; one sister in-law: Anne-Marie Cormier of Shediac, as well as several nieces and nephews.
    Besides his father, he is predeceased by a brother, Ovide "Bibi" on November 1st, 2008.
    At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday November 6th, 2013 at 10:30 am. Inurnment will be in the new indoor Columbarium at the Frenette Funeral Center, Cap-Pelé.
    In memory of Roger, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology or palliative care) would be appreciated. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the care and supervision of Frenette Funeral Center, Cap-Pelé (577-3297).

    Accidentally doing what he loved the most, Ovide ''Bibi'' Cormier, 58, of Smith Ave., Shediac died tragically while fishing on Saturday, November 1, 2008. Born February 28, 1950 in Bas Cap-Pelé, he was the son of Stella (LeBlanc) and the late Lionel Cormier. Loving son, husband, father, brother and friend, Ovide will be sadly missed by his mother Stella (LeBlanc) Cormier of Belcourt Residence, Shediac, his wife of 34 years Anne Marie (Brun) Cormier, his daughters Lisa Cormier (Jean Gravel) of Eel River Crossing, Lynn Cormier (Jean-Marc Landry) at home, Linda Cormier (Daniel LeBlanc) of Fort McMurray, AB; four brothers: Ola Cormier (Jeannette) of Grand-Barachois, Roger Cormier (Gisèle) of Bas Cap-Pelé, Légis Cormier (Huberte) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Paul Melanson (Brenda) of Grand-Barachois; two sisters: Ella Wagner (Barry) of Moncton, Marie Boudreau (Ola) of Trois-Ruisseaux; and by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
