    The article, L'origine des Vienneau en France, by Ronni-Gilles LeBlanc, which appeared in the periodical, Sur l'empremier la Gazette de la Societe Historique de la Mer Rouge, has on p.9, footnote 14 that Placide Gaudet tells us that a girl Henriette was born in France, married at the saint John River about 1775 to a Lejeune and died at Nipisiguit about 1788, leaving many children. It is quite possible that this one was born between March 1740 and December 1743 (births of Marie Therese and Jean Joseph), the longest "intergénéstique" interval for the Vianot-Baude couple.
    Note by A.Owen: A question regarding her birth year because the footnote says that she and Mr Lejeune had many children. If Henriette married between the age of 32 to 35 it is probable that she would not have had 'many' children. Therefore it is more probable that she was born later, closer to 1750 and probably 15-16 years old when she married in 1775. Placide Gaudet's notes give her birth year as 1752 and that she was born in France. The baptism of her brother, Joseph, at Notre Dame Basilica in Quebec city on November 14, 1751 and the baptism of her sister, Catherine, in Bollene, France on February 15, 1749 indicate that the family must have arrived in Quebec city either during 1750 or 1751. Was Henriette born in France just prior to sailing or was she born on the ship in 1750?
    In the article La Famille Vienneau written by Placide Gaudet and published in l`èvangeline newspaper on 12 July 1974, it mentions that 24 families left France to sail to Maghs (today Machias, Maine). For reasons that have never been known, the captain of the vessel landed them in Quebec city after having been aboard the ship for eleven months. Among these families was that of Michel Vienneau....they arrived in Quebec around 1750.
