Irene Boudreau
Irene H. Boudreau, 99, of Amherst, passed away peacefully at the Gables Lodge in Amherst with family by her side on Wednesday, July 20,2011.
Born in Joggins, NS, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Comeau) Boudreau.
Faithful to her church, she worked as housekeeper for St. Peters Parish in Dartmouth and St. Charles Parish in Amherst.
Left to mourn are sisters Eleanor Boudreau, Fredericton and Mildred Terrio, Nappan; brother David, Joggins.
She was predeceased by sisters Mellisa, Pricilla & Gladys Mills and brothers, Edgar, Arthur, Leon and William.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, Main Street, River Hebert (902-251-2817) where visiting hours will take place on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins, on Friday at 11 am, Father David MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Mildred Joan Terrio
April 8, 1921 –February 24, 2015
The family wishes to announce her peaceful passing at the Northumberland Hall, Amherst on February 24, 2015 with family at her side.
Born in Joggins, Mildred was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Comeau) Boudreau.
Mildred was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her children dearly. Mildred was a wonderful grandmother and loving sister. She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed life in the community. She was an active member of her church and the CWL until her later years.
Mildred is survived by and will be dearly missed by her three sons, Robert(Muriel), Roger (Linda) and Gerald (Roseanna) and two daughters, Donna (late Rael) Hache and Anne (Jim) Lacey. Brother, David Boudreau and sister, Eleanor Boudreau. Twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband Jude; brothers, Edgar, Arthur, William and Leon; sisters, Melissa Boudreau, Gladys Mills, Irene Boudreau and Priscilla Devine.
She was a deeply religious person and had great faith in St. Anne de Beaupré.
Her remains are resting at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with visitation on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Reception will follow in the parish hall.
Interment will take place in the spring beside her husband in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie, NS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mildred’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

David V. Boudreau
1931-2017
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David Victor Boudreau, age 86, of Amherst, NS. David passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre surrounded by family.Â
Born in Joggins, NS, he was a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Comeau) Boudreau.
David worked for the department of highways. He enjoyed belonging to and hanging out at the Joggins Fire Department, and acted as chief for many years. He loved fishing and spending time outdoors. David was a great handyman and mechanic. If you needed something fixed around the house, or a car, he could do it.
He is survived by step children, Sharon Balleux, Amherst, Kim Hamilton, Amherst, Brett Hamilton, Joggins, Kate Kelly, USA; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Eleanor Boudreau, Fredericton.Â
He was predeceased by his wife Caroline Peutrell; step-daughter Gale Hamilton; infant sibling William, siblings Melissa, Edgar, Arthur, Irene, Gladys, Leon, Mildred and Priscilla.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS, (902-667-8777) where a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11 am, Deacon Howard Gotell officiating.
